Valentine’s Day isn’t really that big here in the UK, in fact most people find it a bit of a chore or a ‘non-day’. I’m sure I’ve heard many men declare it as ‘commercial rubbish’ and an ‘excuse to sell cards’ which it probably is, but personally I think it’s fun! We rarely go out as a couple; work, time and kids just get in the way so there are just a few special days in the year when it’s good to make a bit of extra effort. I think it’s a while since Mr C and I gave each other gifts although we always manage a card. I remember his first Valentine’s gift to me…it was a big bouquet of flowers and a cuddly pink rabbit. We were out when it was delivered and so the delivery man gave it to a neighbour. She was more than a little cross when she opened the door to this big bunch of flowers only to be told they weren’t for her!!
I have had lots of fun designing these Valentine’s Printables. I love printables and have a Pinterest board dedicated to them. We have lots of pictures up around the house and I use my favourite printable images to mix it up amongst the family pics and other photos. At the moment, I am embarrassed to say, my frames look like this!
Yep that’s right…Christmas pics are still up everywhere! I keep meaning to change them but just haven’t got round to it! This seemed like the perfect opportunity to design some new images to replace my Christmassy ones and I am really pleased with the result!

We don’t give gifts for Valentine’s day, but we do make a big deal out of it. We usually spend the time with the kids, doing arts and crafts, making special valentine’s dishes for dinner and showing how much we all love each other.
I love printables, they are so perfect for any holiday and especially valentine’s day! I am all about adding a little decor around the home for the season 🙂
Thank you!
Your printables are really cute. I also am not a big fan of Valentine’s day but I appreciate the spirit. I think those printables would work for any time of year actually.

At the moment I print mine at home. I’ve got quite a good printer that is suitable for photos. If I wanted them bigger I would get them professionally done. I have also found that poundland sell packs of A4 photo printer paper! Bargain!
These are so lovely, and everyone loves a free printable, right? I will pin this to the #KCACOLS Pinterest board too, thanks for linking up 🙂

I really like this idea of themes framed pictures over cards. I once complained to my Valentine that I never got flowers sent to the office like all the other women at work (he thinks it’s commercial rubbish and likes to save the pennies) and he walked all the way across London in the rain to deliver a value bunch of roses and chocolates to me in his lunch hour and it was my Best St Valentine’s Day ever. I still have the rose buds dried in a jar. #fortheloveofBLOG
Oh how wonderful…now that’s love! I’d say he’s a keeper!
